The train to Rameswaram starts from Egmore at 17:40. I thot I will travel back home for lunch and be on leave there on, since my travel to home takes 90 minutes. As the game was becoming more interesting, there was a delivery team cum Vendor meeting planned for 3 PM...! There was no way I can travel home and then travel to Egmore. To my agony, the tickets were still wait listed as per morning 10 AM status. By 11:30 they became RAC for me and still WL for Viji.
I was ready to call off the entire yatra any moment. It is an easy act, just do online cancellation, before chart preparation. My heart was not letting me do that, for varied reasons beyond comprehension...! Three pm the meeting started and by four pm it was still on. Viji had started from home by then, with the anxiety that she may have to hunt for the coach. I sneaked into IRCTC site, while in the meeting, without others watching the same. Hurrrrraaayyy...! I had confirmed seats 35 amd 36, just sms-ed this to Viji who was getting into the auto...!
There was sense of relief for her. Now, my plan to board the train. This was His idea probably. My office was nearer to Chengalpattu, through which the train passes. It takes ten minutes for me to reach this place. Incidentally, Chengalpattu is my native place too...! Looked like He wanted me to kickoff Kasi Yatra from my native place. I reached Chengalpattu rly station in time and got into the train to Rameswaram, on time...! Oh God what a planning He does for us...! Nothing of this human act...! The train set off to Rameswaram...!
